A Punch-out Introduction:

Punch-out transactions started occurring in 1997 and enable buyers to select items from a supplier’s online catalogue through Marketboomer. Supplier’s catalogues which are setup for this buying process are known as a Punch-Out catalogue.

A buyer can technically use Marketboomer to maintain a connection to their supplier’s system to source and pick products. The relevant information about the transaction can then be passed directly to Marketboomer while being held at the supplier side until the necessary order approval work flow takes place.
